Daddy and the girls came up for a long weekend visit to surprise their baby sister!
Gianna experienced so much more joy and determination with her family around!
A cheerful heart really is good medicine!!!
What made the Friday that they arrived all the more special, is that it was Tahlia’s 3 year GOTCHA anniversary!!!
Gianna was very sad when they had to leave 🙁
makes us crave home all the more!!
besides missing family and home terribly!
Gianna has been doing amazingly well!
She is rapidly gaining strength in her legs and core again and is walking while pushing her shopping cart and holding hands!
She loves to go out walking!!
So far her medication weanings have been going very well with little to no withdrawal sympotoms, such an answer to prayer!!
Her labwork and xray results have been coming back looking great as well!
We are praying that Gianna starts eating more solid foods (now that her yucky feeding tube is out!!)
PLEASE KEEP PRAYING FOR:
- that Gianna stays infection free
- that her lungs stay clear
- that she starts eating more food
- that her med weanings continue with no ill side effects
- that WE ARE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!
**UPDATE**
According to her doctors, they have made me a promise to get us home by Christmas!
If all goes well, she will be weaned off a certain amount of medication to get us home soon!
Daddy will be traveling back up here this upcoming weekend with the HOPE AND PRAYER to break us outta here and get us HOME HOME HOME!!!!!
She has come SO SO SO FAR!!! What a miracle God is displaying though this brave little warrior, such a spirit of determination!!!
