Gianna is looking great and everyone agrees she’s doing wonderfully so the plan today is to wake her up more and wean her from her ventilator and possibly do sprinting (practice runs off vent) tomorrow with a plan for extubation at the end of the weekend if all goes well… I’m so excited…

she should be getting out her drainage chest tubes today….. I’m so thankful that this will happen before extubation and before she is more awake since they are supposedly very uncomfortable and painful to get them out. I had prayed for this!
