***Calling all prayer warriors!!***
Specific prayer request for tomorrow’s long and complicated open heart surgery :
1) Gianna goes into the surgical holding room for her calming sedative at 6am, pray for peace for her
2) she will go back to the OR at 7ish, and they will begin prepping her, pray for the anesthesia team, and all teams involved who monitor her from head to toe, pray for acute awareness and wisdom to make quick perfect decisions
3) she will then have her chest opened and go on to bypass and we are told will most definitely need blood transfusions during surgery, pray for protection of her brain, and other vital organs. …we will be updated every 90 min …we will.update more specifically to our private page, but will post big updates here as well
4) in surgery, the surgeon will close her VSD holes and replace her failing valve. Pray for skillful hands, pray for wisdom, pray for Angels to protect and for God to guide his hands. Pray the mechanical valve fits and is successfully implanted. Pray all holes are successfully found and repaired.
5) pray Gianna’s heart stays strong on bypass through this very long complicated surgery
6) please pray for victory for her surgery, for miracles of healing through the surgeon’s hands
7) pray for fast extubation, strong lungs. No infections and a smooth transition to her going from vent to breathing on her own again
8) pray for a super fast, strong recovery and for her heart to be completely restored.
