WHAT A SMILE!
Tomorrow morning, this tiny but mighty girl will wake up and get to say that she has “10 MORE DAYS TILL HER WISH IS GRANTED!!!!!!!!” Her dreams coming true.
She loves talking about her wish, she’s so excited and hopeful and joyful! ….it’s precious to witness…especially after a tumultuous year. Not to mention, exactly one year ago we were preparing for a different kind of adventure. ..a very scary one where her heart would be completely re-built and made new.
She has come so far! ….we are asking for prayer for her echo next week. She needs a happy heart, happy pressures and a happy valve so that she can be cleared for her HAPPY WISH!!! My mama heart is anxious for the echo results. …but, I refuse to let anxiety steal our joy of living!!! I’ve had to learn (especially since getting news of her failing valve months ago) that God does not call us to live in fear, but to to live in HOPE. Living in fear and worry just robs us of today’s treasures. Not one of us are promised tomorrow or given assurance for another day. I’m learning through this honor of being Gianna’s mama, to not take one day for granted. ….because each day is a gift. Gianna and so many precious heart heroes and hero families, who we have had the honor to pray for, have taught us how to live brave and to HOPE and dream big.
