girly memories and special dates!! (part 1: NYC!!!)

this past week was a very special week for my girls.

First of all, they got a very special “early” Christmas Present.

They got to see one of their dreams come true!!!!

NEW YORK CITY!!!!!

We journeyed to the exciting city of New York for the day with Nana and Pop-Pop!

 
  It was especially memorable because not only was this the girls’ first time in NY, but it was also Nana’s First time in NY too!!! 
 
Our first stop was a place I’ve been wanting to take my girls for years, but had never had the opportunity till now!
This place was amazing. You don’t have to just be a little girl to enjoy it.
We stopped for lunch at the American Girl Restaurant. And it was just so fitting that we experience this special place with Nana and Pop-pop, since they are the ones who have gotten the girls their sweet AG dolls over the years.

 This lunch was so sweet and perfect. There are just no other words…sweet, and perfect!

And, when they asked us if it was anyone special’s birthday, well…..we couldn’t NOT tell them that it just happened to be someone VERY special’s birthday…….

and so we celebrated that someone special 😉

SO FUN!!!!
Pop-Pop, you are such a great pop-pop, we love you so much!
And, the adventure continued…..

Our next stop:

 RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were SO SO excited to see the ROCKETTES Christmas Spectatular!

And, it was NOTHING short of SPECTACULAR!!!

I’m just going to let these pictures speak for themselves! We were in awe the whole time…..

The Nutcracker was adorable!

The toy soldiers were amazing….so in sync!!!

The whole hall was transformed into the North Pole!

Our favorite part was a surprise! We were so thrilled to see them end the show on the TRUE reason for the Season!!!

SUCH an amazing experience!!!!!

After the show we did some more sight seeing!! We loved Times Square, the Lego store and the M&M store and the BIG Toys R Us!!!!

So many memories were made this awesome day and night with my older girls and Nana and Pop-Pop in NYC!!!

 I am so thankful that we got to do that together!

  1. How fun!! Are you within driving distance of NYC then? We haven't been there since I was pregnant with Braylee. We took the girls to the AG store in Chicago a couple of summers ago and they LOVED it!!
