Our sweet girl is THREE!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe it!
She has been so excited for this day to come, always holding up two petite little fingers to say her current age, then “pop” goes that third tiny finger to say “I WILL BE THREE SOON!”
And, it is HERE! We’ve been SO excited too! This birthday is extra special to us for a specific reason.
As of April, our sweet girl had officially been with us (her forever family) longer than anywhere else.
She was with her first mom for a precious 5 months….
 and then in an orphanage for 15 months.
 and, As of April….she has been with us for 16 months!
We are so blessed!!!!
This is a huge milestone! And, one that we’ve been looking forward to for so very long.We are so grateful to God!
And….to celebrate…..she got her first pet!
 
She kept saying, “HE’s SO CUTE!”
She affectionatly named him, Tolee (after the Koala bear on Kai-lan)
The actual morning of her birthday, she woke up to lots of singing, decorations and a special M&M breakfast. Oh, did I mention that she had slept in her bed all night (I guess that was her bday gift to momma….cause that NEVER happens) LOL
And, Ashy had bought Tolly a very special gift, months ago, with his very own money. He was SO SO excited to give it to her. And, she absolutely loves those sweet little finger puppets!!
She adores her big brother!
and then, later that afternoon, we took her on a special birthday shopping trip where she was so excited to pick out her own balloon, new sparkly light-up shoes and (of course) a new Dora purse!!
…. she had to wait a whole 4 days for her family DORA party, complete with Pinata, cake and ice-cream!!!
SHE WAS SO EXCITED!!!!!
It was a very special day filled with a sense of joy and utter gratefulness that God would bless our life with such a treasure of Tolly!!
 
We love you, sweet baby girl, and we are so blessed to be your family!!!!
Happy birthday to your sweet girl!!!!!! Mia turns three April 22 . I didn't realize how close the girls bday a were. Oh and we have been loving mystery of history. Are y'all finishing up or are you using it next year too ????? Homeschool blessings 🙂
Such a blessed post to read that she has now been in your arms longer than anywhere else. That is a HUGE milestone!! May God bless the next 16 months and beyond.

And what a cute cake with the little petals it looked like it had all over it! Love that she had M&M's for breakfast! What fun she's got a furry little friend, too!
I have to laugh at the blogs that have had hamster adventures lately…you may follow some of the same (Do They Have Salsa in China – the dog LOVES the hamster and loves eyeing it) and someone else…now I can't remember who, ended up finding out their hamster was pregnant, and they plotted to be sure she didn't eat the babies, and then the kids accidentally let the hamsters out the other morning early and they were chasing little hamsters all around at like 5 am. Ha ha. I'd be sure your little friend is up high at night so you don't get to play hamster tag, too 🙂

What a great way to celebrate 3 and her time w/ you! We have a 3 yr old Dora and Kai-lan fan too!! It's the year for 3rd beats and thanking God for such joy in our lives! Blessings to you all. I love all the pix.
