It had been our prayer request that God would make it abundantly clear to us when we come across our daughter, and HE did! We just knew it WAS her!!!
BLESSED!!!
And to celebrate, our family is launching our Official waiting child advocacy website.
Actually, I should say…it is God who is launching this, because HE was the one who stirred our hearts and put this mission on our minds!Â
How it came about:
It had been a very difficult week, we were often found on our knees praying and pleading to God for an adopted, beautiful and brave little girl named Teresa  That He would heal her!She was fighting to live with her new Hero Heart in a hospital not far away. Her heart was not being accepted by her body. She was fighting so hard. The whole country was praying for her.
But, we were very heartbroken after hearing the devastating and shocking news that she had been taken home to Jesus.Â
Although, there was also a sense of peace and hope because we knew Teresa had NOT died alone, she had breathed her last breath being held in the loving arms of her brave mama and daddy.Â
She knew the fierce love of a beautiful family, she had three amazing years of being loved.Â
But, Oh how we wish her precious family had been given more sweet time with their dear princess girl.
Such an amazing little girl who touched so many lives. A true miracle.
Her story ushered our family into a renewed and deep sadness for the many orphans who are left behind, battling to live, without someone to call their family.
…..alone. just waiting.
Short of adopting again (and we pray that the Lord would open that blessed door one day), we just can NOT sit around and do nothing!
We are consumed with grief, and a desire to make a difference.
Depressed and compelled to hear from the Lord.
I opened Proverbs. Looking for encouragement.Â
And, there it was.
The Lord spoke loud and clear.
Proverbs 23:18 was illuminating off the page.Â
The one word that kept stirring in me was HOPE!Â
Surely, you’re HOPE will NOT BE CUT OFF!Â
It was a promise from God!
and…in that moment, for us, it was a commandment!!!
We were to try to bring hope to the orphan.Â
To speak up on behalf of these precious children who have no voice and to possibly be an instrument of hope to them.Â
It was clear…..we were to officially advocate and start a new website!!!
**And, I must pause a moment to officially thank Jennifer at Rasberry Road Design for coming through for me as a last minute request and helping me put together this beautiful new website! She is such a blessing and you just MUST visit her Etsy page and see all her awesome work!!! You can NOT get better customer service than Jennifer at an amazing prices!!**
The Snowdrop is a unique and beautiful flower that may look delicate, but it is actually quite strong. It blooms in the end of a cold harsh winter, sometimes emerging right through the snow.Â
A miracle, really.
Despite the cold, It reaches for a new beginning.
It hopes for Spring. It hangs on and doesn’t give up.
After researching this flower, I couldn’t help but to be reminded of all the precious waiting children all over the world who are just HOPING for their new beginning……just reaching for their “spring”. Hanging on.
They are waiting for redemption.
Stop for Snowdrops is about giving the world  a chance to stop and see the unique beauty in each beautiful child in hopes of finding their forever family.Â
It’s about sharing these children with other prayer warriors who will join us in pleading to God for miracles to be done in their lives.
Praying for them to come home, for their new beginning.
…because if only ONE child out of 100’s finds their forever family through this blog page, then it would be MORE than worth it.
So, please SHARE this website!! Grab my pin and Get these sweet faces out there!!! COMMIT with your family to pray for them.
Let’s work together to bring them their miracle.
