My sunshine turns a decade!!!

You’re name means “ray of sunshine”……

You are the exact center of all the kiddies. 

That’s a special place to be.

When you were little, around 3 or 4 and we were bouncing on the tramp together (just after first getting it). I had asked you to go to the “center” of the trampoline so I could do popcorn for you….. and you were not sure what I meant by “center.” So, I used the “flower” example to teach you what a “center” was. As soon as I explained that  a “center” is the middle of the flower…the special part….you just knew right away.

Well, you are that “special” part.

You color our world, Laylay. 

You have a special gift of seeing the beauty of this world all around you, I love that about you. You really do stop to smell the flowers…..

and, everything you love and adore is bright, happy, fuzzy, warm and sweet. You teach us to appreciate those things as well.

You’re sunny presence and smile and goofy giggles shine and  reflect off of each of your four siblings and mommy and daddy. 

We know this year has not been easy, its had its share of ups…and it’s had it’s downs. You have had many struggles and trials but you have made it through them! And,your courage and fortitude has grown and we are so proud of you for that. 

Because you know that In Him, all things are Possible!

I want you to know that Mommy and daddy are holding your hand with absolute assurance that God will bring you through these trials and any trials in the future and you will be “stronger” for it! 

 And, I just love your feisty spirit and your fierce determination, and your eye for all things beautiful. these gifts will get you so very far my love,and GOD has special plans and purposes for you, you are so very important. 🙂

Just keep Shining your radiant light, sweet Helaina, because when you smile, hug and giggle and speak your encouraging words of love and silliness…..you brighten our day, and fill us with joy. We love you so much!
