Orphan Sunday. The Miracle of HOPE

It was just 2 weeks before we were headed to China to finally hold our little girl in our arms.

She was waiting.

Yet, we were still unsure where the rest of the needed funds would come from to travel, and complete the last steps of the process.

But, GOD KNEW.

The mail came.

We received a gift. We received a letter from Show Hope and a check.

The check was in the amount that we exactly needed.

It had been months prior that we had applied for a grant. We hadn’t heard anything.

But, at this moment, and on this day it came. Faith became sight. It had come exactly when we needed it.

Because, GOD KNEW. He knew how He was going to provide.

He used the amazing ministry of SHOW HOPE to show us hope, just before we were to depart for the biggest steps of faith we had ever been on.

God used SHOW HOPE to show Tahlia hope by financially providing a way for us to go and get her and finally bring her home.

But, it took faith. We were not shown the light ahead, except the step that was right in front of us. We had to just keep stepping out, in faith. We were to obey the calling and wait to see the Lord work.

When we answered God’s call to adopt, we had no idea how we would financially do it.

God became so much bigger to us as we saw Him perform miracles and move mountains to bring her home.

SHOW HOPE was a miracle in our lives. And, it wouldn’t have been possible without the sponsors of SHOW HOPE who generously care for the orphan by donating money to help others bring them home.

It takes the whole body of Christ to care for the orphan.
