“We are home with Tahlia”. Those are the 5 words I have been waiting SO long to say….and, I finally get to say them…to God be the glory!!! Tonight when we walked through my front door with Tahlia….to her home…we were standing in the middle of a miracle. We walked into more love than anyone could ever ask for. My children felt just heavenly as we squished the life out of them. It was so wonderful to have our family, the ones we love the dearest of all, and who have closely walked this journey with us, waiting in our home to welcome sweet Tahlia as we walked through the front door.
Oh the tears….
Tahlia was a bit “shell shocked” and started to get scared of all the new faces and all the “LOVE”..LOL! But, no doubt, she will eventually get used to it. She started to warm up and blew kisses. When everyone left, it was just Tahlia and the siblings….and, boy did she loosen up! My boys started their crazy antics to get her to giggle her head off, and Helaina got her dream “of holding her baby sissy.” After many hours, there was chaos everywhere…mess everywhere (after the grandparents had cleaned so nicely)…cheerios everywhere, paper everywhere (Tahlia loves to rip paper)…but with all the madness, I just gotta say: it was just plain blissful!
And I got my dream of having all my babies in the same country, under one roof, on the same couch…(exhale)
My heart is so happy for you!
