Is it Christmas morning? Because, we just received a most wonderful gift! 6 photos and 2 videos!!! I am bursting with love as I see my daughter on video for the first time. I just don’t have the right words to express our joy…..except to say, we have fallen in love with her all over again. Isabella and I were the only ones awake past midnight when we received this special delivery. Oh my gracious!!!! Seeing her personality come to life for the first time (LIVE)….seeing her smile the biggest smile we have EVER seen (she takes after my Ethan) and seeing her eyes light up. Well, lets just say it literally took our breath away. The two of us just watched the videos over and over and over again. with streams of tears coming down our faces. We just kept saying, “look at her, look….what a gift…thank you God, she is such a gift!” It was a moment!
Here’s the story: A couple weeks ago we ordered from Ladybugs n Love From Above a cake for Tahlia. Angela and Kelly were amazing and made sure we got our pics, and I NEVER in my wildest dream thought we’d be getting a video, 2 videos!!
So, we ordered this cake because we knew our Travel Approval was quickly approaching and we wanted Tahlia to have a documented sweet celebration with her MaoNan family. She will be leaving them soon, so I wanted them to share this memory together. It’s pretty amazing because I had no idea when she would get the cake. Well, Angela told me that she got her special cake on Thanksgiving day. The cake says “Happy Thanksgiving Tahlia”.
Here is the God thing: She received her cake on the EXACT day we received our Travel Approval to go get her! We were all celebrating…..on both sides of the world…..both, experiencing joy and happiness!! Isn’t that so awesome!
God just knew that I couldn’t get a video of our daughter until I was just days from receiving her….He knew that it would have made the wait THAT much harder. He so knows me! 6 days…..6 more days till we hold her!! Thank you LORD!!!
