It isn’t often that I say that 5 kids is a LOT of kids. I really don’t consider us a crazy large family. When I think of large I think….8,9,10 kids, well……no…. REALLY, I just think of the Duggars 😉 (someday I will write a post about how much I adore the Duggars).
However,….there are sobering times when it feels like my kids have certainly doubled quantities right before my very eyes. Those are the times that I BEG the good Lord to PLEASE, OH PLEASE make me a “super-twin” who will come in and RESCUE us all!!
It was days like this one, when each child (with the exception of my E who happily rode his bike, “THANK YOU E!!!) pranced outside, down the garage steps, one by one, insisting that it was a good day to throw on the skates! With three of them absolutely NOT knowing how to skate yet (thank God Isabella has mastered that skill)!
……..yes, there my friends is the perfect recipe for chaos (aka: entertainment for neigbors!!)…..
….. Beautiful, messy chaos.
But, what a memory!
Though, my Isabella was a HUGE help! She always is:)
And, Tahlia wanted to help Isabella too…..
AHHHHHHH…….Enter…….Daddy to the Rescue!!!!! I love this man so much, especially when he sweeps in to save me!
Gonna enter the Five Kids Club pretty soon here! But I don't have such big-kid helpers as you. And we will not be attempting skating any time soon, either! 🙂 Such fun pics.
Joanna,
Looks like yall had a fun evening filled with firsts. It goes by so quickly. Sometimes I want to freeze time and there are other days it is Crazy and Chaotic. All a gift from the Lord. We just joined a homeschool Co Op our first year doing this……..I teach morning Prek and Kinder. LOL
