Jesus Changes Everything….

One of my most beloved and favorite GiaBia&Mama moments is riding a horse on the sands and shores in our beautiful Nicaragua.

Child loss has a way of messing up your sense of time.My heart has a hard time reconciling my past, my now and my future. Time no longer makes sense or connects smoothly but one thing that is absolutely positively true is that I know my future with my baby girl is so much “more” than my past with her.
Hear this friends: There is a heaven (I felt and saw a holy glimpse) and Jesus is the only way to get there.
Jesus is truth, hope and rescue and everything good and wonderful.

I miss my beautiful sparkly girl with every fiber of my being in the now and the past feels like a different life altogether…one I desperately grieve for. However, I know my love for my baby girl grows right into eternity where we will ride horses again together on the shores of eternity (but I’m sure there will be beautiful unicorns to choose from 😉 ).

Mothering my Gianna and having the aching honor of walking her to Jesus gave me an eternal perspective like no other. I am Changed forever by pain. Pain has unearthed a truer conviction of the truth I stand on. A Truth that has unbolted me from this temporary earth and fiercely anchored me to heaven.

Because it is So. Real. All real.

THERE IS MORE.

You see, We will all die. It is a 100% guarantee that we will die. So what is your life built on?
This earth has gone strangely dim In the light of TRUTH…. truth has a way of manifesting itself in light of tragedy. It brings everything into the light. Everything we do either is eternal or not.

So, I gently ask: What and who are you investing in?

There is one who loves you and invested in YOU with his own blood. He gave His life for you. He loves you that much. And, Jesus…..His love and promise changes EVERYTHING.

This world and all it’s glory will pass away…. but, only what’s done for Christ will last. So, in light of the brevity of life, the question we need to ask ourselves is: what and who are you living for?Simply put, eternity matters more and Jesus is the game changer.In an age and culture where so many people want to be loud, want to be heard and want to be so “right” amongst such brokenness and tragedy… now, more than ever, is our opportunity to Go seek TRUTH.

There is a peace waiting to flood you.
We aren’t promised tomorrow but we are offered a gift of eternity “now.”

Because Jesus.

Choose Jesus. Choose HOPE.

“O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Thro’ death into life everlasting,
He passed, and we follow Him there;
O’er us sin no more hath dominion–
For more than conquerors we are!
His Word shall not fail you–He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!”
